Selling Is A Full Time Job; Are You Putting In The Work?

Customers hardly buy from you the first time they hear about your product or service. A sale is hardly ever made at once. Customers need to be wowed; they need to be convinced that they need your product or service over somebody else’s; they need to be convinced it is worth spending their cash on now.

It often takes 4 to 5 interactions with the product or service for a customer to decide it is worth the buy. This is called the sales funnel. A funnel because at each interaction you loose what you targeted to be potential customers. Of all the customers you Approach through marketing, only a percentage will show Interest, of which a percentage will show Desire to buy your product or service over any alternative and finally only a percentage of these potential customers takes the Action to actually buy from you…  in short: the AIDA model.

As a business owner, it is key for you to continue to offer your best at each interaction the customer has with you. Don’t be put off if a customer takes time to decide, it is all part of the process.

Accept that not all customer leads convert into buyers.
